Sirius Residence Shortlisted in the IDEA 2026 Awards

Sirius Residence has been shortlisted in the Residential Single category at the 2026 Interior Design Excellence Awards.

Run by Australian Design Review, IDEA has recognised the best of Australian interior design since 2002 and is among the longest-running and most respected programs in the country. This year drew a record number of entries, with around 300 projects named across all categories. The shortlist was revealed on 13 August at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Sirius Residence is a private home in Mosman, designed in oak joinery, natural stone and a restrained, calm palette. Interiors are by Sici, led by Maria Papadopoulos, with the home published in Vogue Living.

Winners will be announced at the IDEA gala on 4 December at Melbourne Museum. The full shortlist is published by Australian Development Review and in issue 123 of inside magazine.

“Recognition like this belongs to the team. Sirius was shaped by people who bring real care to every stage, and to sit among this year’s shortlist, in a field this strong, is a quiet affirmation of the way we work.”
— Maria Papadopoulos, Architect and Founding Director
