Design begins with you. How you live, how you gather, how you want your mornings to feel. Only then do we turn to place, light and the way a home will sit in its surroundings. It should feel considered rather than imposed, and belong quietly where you have chosen to live.
A home is a thousand decisions. Every material, every proportion and every join is chosen with intent, for the hand as much as the eye, and that judgment is what you are trusting us with. Made well, those decisions produce a house that simply works, and a calm you feel before you can name it.
That quiet is not something we add at the end. It is what those decisions leave behind, and what you will still feel in twenty years. Timeless by nature, intentional by design.

Maria is a registered architect and a member of the Australian Institute of Architects, with work across Australia, Europe and the Middle East. She designs for longevity rather than trend, and for the way a home is lived in rather than the way it photographs.
Sici is more than an architectural and interior practice. It is a studio defined by authorship and accountability, where every decision has a name on it.
